Not sure why i decided to go back to school. Im ready to quit and never write a paper again! Its midterms week right now and I cannot get myself to concentrate. Instead, I have been watching a bunch of dramas. Its very distracting.

I also havent figured out how to use the timer on my Nikon SLR yet. I keep telling myself that when I can manage to find some free time, I should spend an hour or two reading the manual on how to use all the settings. So much for that. So for now, here are a few shots with my point and shoot.

I tried to capture a good pic of my oatmeal chunky sweater. I actually bought it from fashiontoast a while back and havent found time to snap pictures of it. I love it! So comfortable. Its like my big grandpa sweater/cardigan. :)

I have an unhealthy obsession with black shoes!

I can say im honestly amazed at the sight of red orange and yellow crisp leaves on the ground as I walk around Seattle. I have never experience Fall in San Diego. I love it. The weather is cool but not freezing cold. I love the fact that i can go out bundled up in nice sweaters and jackets, wrapped in slouchy scarfs and protected with high black boots. I am in love with Seattle. Hopefully the novelty wont wear off once rainy season starts.

Sorry the picture quality isnt so great. I still have that crappy point and shoot. Can't afford a new camera yet.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been so busy packing and moving out of my apt in San Diego to my apt in Seattle. Finally settling in now. Im not sure which one is my favorite. Can i just say that they all are. This is from Isabel Marant's Spring 09 collection. Happy Wednesday! Yawn... Im so tired at work right now. Stayed out late last night at a couple of bars since we had some friends visiting SD from Philly. Showed them exactly what a big craze "taco tuesday" is in san diego.

So i finally gave my one month notice to my work. Needless to say, they were shocked but seem supportive but still sad to see me go. I'm excited to leave but also really sad to leave such a great company with amazing coworkers. Now I gotta force myself to get back into the school mentality, eek!

So last weekend i went in for some highlights and came out blonde. Ha. Very drastic i know but didnt you ever wanted to go into a salon and come out with something completely different and new? Well, i have always wanted that but have played it safe every single time. Anyways, here's a picture of how light my hair is now. :)

The second picture is at the "ABC" party which was a going away for two of my friends leaving for the east coast. The theme was "anything but clothes" and a lot of people were very creative. I didn't make anything too crazy. My top was made out of magazine cutouts. :)

Yay, I just signed my new lease for my apartment in Seattle. Less than 2 months left till i leave sunny san diego for rainy seattle. Its quite alright, i will only be in seattle for about 2 years for school and then moving right back to daygo. I think it will be a great experience to live somewhere else for a little bit since i have spent my whole life in san diego.

I love these boots so much that I couldnt resist wearing them again. :)
Oh and I saw this black dress with writing/grafitti all over it at a cute little boutique in Milan and had to get it. Its very different from any other thing I have owned and I knew that if I didnt pick it up now, I would probably find myself buying another ticket back to milan just to get it. I consider it my eccentric, off the shelf, little black dress that every girl should have.

I also had to throw in a picture of galleria vittorio emmanuele from milan, one of the most gorgeous shopping malls I have ever seen in my life.

I wanted to upload some pics from my trip to Greece. Maybe it will inspire others to go. Everything looked like it was straight out of a postcard. It felt so surreal. I decided that Im going to get married in Santorini if i can help it. Its absolutely beautiful there. White houses right on the cliffs. And dont get me started on Mykonos. Its just one craazy hedonistic party island and i wouldnt hesitate to jet off there again. I have an insatiable thirst for traveling if you can't tell.

Rebecca and I also ran into Manuel Neuer. He is the German goalie for Schalke 04 and just got added to Germany's national team for the world cup next year. For a guy that is set for life at the age of 23, he was so down to earth and very modest. It was pretty cool to hang out with him in Mykonos!

Im back!! Omg, it was an amazing trip. I am absolutely head over heels in love with Greece! Santorini takes my breath away and Mykonos should take the no. 1 title for sexiest beach party destination ever!

Im going on a blog hiatus for a bit since I'm leaving in a day for a 3-week backpacking trip starting in Milan, Italy. I'm not sure how readily available internet is so bare with me. Its the weekend!!! Yay! Lots of errands to take care of before i embark on my 3 week backpacking trip across Eastern Europe! Can't wait!! First stop is Milan. Do you guys have any tips on stores i should visit in Milan? I havent done much research yet.

Decided to take some pictures on the boardwalk since i literally live a couple of blocks from it. I love the beach and the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves. So serene. Yay, my photographer is back. Thanks Sean! Now the pictures will turn out better than when i take them by myself. Haha. We both had today off so we ended up treking up to La Jolla and mount soleidad to play with some photography and fashion. I decided to cut up my black tights minutes before we left the house. My first DIY project ever and surprisingly i didnt butcher it up but then again, it was a straight snip, how hard is that. Ha. Anyways, the outfit plus the pictures turned out great i think.

Wow, what a weekend! Im so exhausted. Its tiring partying all the time. haha. But yes, Vegas was amazing with perfect weather! We ended up at Jet the first night and ran into Roy Williams from the Dallas Cowboys. He was so sweet. Signed a 2100+ bar tab and gave us his VIP table with full bottles of greygoose stocked! Went to XS at Encore Sat night and Sunday was REHAB all day at the Hardrock. Hope you guys had a great weekend too!

Where did the weekend goooooo? Spent Friday stuffing myself with 2 lbs of crawfish at Crabhut and then going home and taking an allegra because I'm allergic to crawfish. Aaah the things you do for what you love. Saturday was spent mostly at the little shops in PB and then hitting the mall downtown. 4.5 hours of shopping. Deadly for your bank account. Had dim sum this morning for breakfast and now enjoying the laziest sunday on my couch. :)

Time really flies around here. One week of work to get through and then sin city. :)

Yay for a four day weekend (yup i got friday off too). Just got back from watching
Terminator - Salvation with Nick. Loved it! Can't wait for some beach action this weekend. :) I love sunny days in san diego.

My setting was off on my camera for the pictures below. I was using iso 200 and it came out pretty bright but i dont think it looked too bad at the end of the day. You cant really see the details of the torn shorts so Ill probably wear it again for another outfit.

I know somebody started this trend eons ago but im still loving the gladiator shoes phase! Of course black is one of my favorite colors for fashion and evidently the prominent color in my wardrobe. I naturally ordered everything in black when i went on my shopping shoe spree.

Im soooo tired! Been flying all day and finally landed in Kansas at 6pm. It was still light outside so i walked along the witchia river and there was a river festival going on today so there were a lot of people outside. It was so pretty today. I love spring and im so excited for summer! (Summer = Europe trip)

So my sister moved into her new studio literally on the beach. You can hear the waves crashing at night. I came over to visit her and to check out her new studio and we did an impromtu shoot with my new camera. Her green bed is a nice backdrop. :)

Sigh, i have to be up bright and early for my work conference tomorrow morning.... on a sunday. This has got to be the shortest weekend for me.

I found this top digging through the racks at a little boutique near the beach and Im not sure why it was so appealing to me. Its tacky yet adorable! Reminds me of the blue wolves shirt Rumi wore in her fashiontoast blog. AFter that post, I started hunting for one of my own tanks and i think this is it.

call me crazy but i like these boots! I know, i know... what is the point of wearing boots that are open toes. Boots are suppose to keep our feet and little toes warm. I can't explain it but i love them! I think they are so cute. Doesnt Rachel Bilson look so cute in them? Maybe Id pick the booties over the thigh highs. I can already see all the stares I would get if i walked down Pacific Beach in those thigh high black boots. Too bad each pair is around 500-800 bucks! Maybe when Im rich one day.... haha

Summer finally came in San Diego and it did not disappoint. Its been soo hot lately.
I thought I almost died of heat exhaustion on Earth Day at Balboa park with Nick, his mom and his sister.
Thank goodness we were smart and brought huge water bottles to keep us hydrated.
Anyways.....although im glad spring/summer is here, im hoping the heat wave will let up a bit.

The pic below is of Nick and I at Ian and Summer's wedding. The wedding and reception was at the Darlington house in La Jolla. It's a huge house and literally steps away from the beach. The furnishing had that old royal type of feeling to it. Beautiful.

I got a new camera. The Canon G10. Its a high end point and shoot, similar to an SLR. Not sure if its so much a portrait camera but I took the pictures posted below with it and i think it turned out pretty good. The quality was really fine. However, you wont be able to tell because it uploads to the site a little grainy.

Usually its too warm in San Diego to even consider wearing a jacket or sweater but once in awhile, the weather deviates from the norm and then its time to pull out that big fluffy sweater/jacket thats been hiding in your closet to keep you warm.

When i saw Jennifer Aniston's hair at the Oscars, i immediately knew that I wanted to do that on my own hair. After countless youtube videos, i still have not perfected the art of french braiding my bangs.

Luckily I came across a really nice girl who offered to do the popular french braid across my hairline at Barwest Friday night, a lounge/club in pacific beach. Yes i know, random huh..of all places. Haha. Anyways, am i not a splitting image of Jennifer Aniston or what?

I have a horrible addiction.
Ebay.
I use it to buy everything from film for my polaroid camera to travel alarm clocks and backpack locks for my upcoming trip to makeup to the fujitsu lifebook im using to write this post.
But mostly I use it to shop for vintage clothes that I dont come across in stores.

At first it seems like an innocent browsing of all the wonderful vintage clothing online.
Then you start adding every item you like to your watch list.
Then comes the bidding and the thrill of beating somebody out for that fabulous find....
only to realize an hour or two later that you werent thinking clearly and have paid way too much for something you could have found from your mom's wardrobe.

Yet, the cycle begins the next day.

Anyways, point of the story is I bought this cute vintage white blazer only to find that it was a little big on me when i got it so now im turning the tables on ebay and selling it. Maybe i will find somebody out there like me with an ebay obsession who will bid on it. :]

The Mecca of all Romantic Getaways

Im getting a little more antsy for every day that has gone by. My European adventure is less than 3 months away.
One of the stops im making on the trip is to Santorini, a small Greek Island off the coast of Greece.
Apparently it is a top touristy destination for weddings. I dont see it, do you??

First there was Friendster, then came Myspace, and now Facebook. But how long will Facebook stay the top social networking site? I only joined Facebook because most of my classmates started using the site our last year of college. The invite was only for people affiliated with a college/university.

It felt so elite.
Friendster was completely deactivated. And Myspace has now been ignored.
But really, how long till Facebook becomes something of the past.

Its the same type of evolution with blogspot. I started with Xanga and I swore by it for many years in college. Then I moved on to livejournal which I have to admit, i used infrequently. As i look around me, all my friends have blogspot. But wasnt blogspot the original online blog site before xanga or livejournal came along? I vaguely remember using the site when I was younger.

Anyways, im starting to get a little tired of trying to keep up with whats in and whats out. Yet i still do so I can stay connected or read up on the friends that do keep up.

Enough with the babbling for one day (although i think this is what an online blog is for).
